Personal Licence
This Personal Licence course provides an award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) and is for anyone wishing to apply for a personal licence to sell alcohol at licensed premises. Course contents

Candidates will learn licensing laws, protecting children, restrictions, responsibilities and be provided with key knowledge for personal and premises licensing. The course will cover;

  • Licensing Law
  • Personal Licences
  • Premises Licences
  • The Protection of Children
  • Powers and enforcement
  • Temporary Events
  • Responsible Alcohol retailing.

Course requirements

This course is for candidates wanting to work within the alcohol industry by serving or selling alcohol. There are no entry requirements for this course, however a good understanding of the English language is required.

Course length and cost

This face to face course is a full day. After the course has been completed a one hour exam will take place. The course costs £129.95 per learner and includes the exam and certificate.

Course location

The course and exam takes place at one of our examination centres in either Norfolk or Lincolnshire.
