ehc UK is a joint venture between Breckland Council and South Holland District Council. Your privacy is very important to ehc UK and The Councils.

In certain circumstances we may give your data to other agencies or partners in connection with any legal proceedings, including any prospective legal proceedings, or for the purpose of obtaining legal advice, or when it is otherwise necessary for the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending legal rights. If you provide services to us as a contractor, or represent a company providing contracted services to us, we may give your information to other agencies or partners in connection with the maintenance, monitoring and delivery of the contract services to us.
Why we need your personal data
When you contact us to access our services, or we contact you as part of a commercial service, we may ask for certain personal information in order to be able to assist you or to provide the commercial service. Some of this information will be recorded and stored on our systems.
Your information will be used to provide a commercial service to you and to meet our obligations as a registered training centre, providing accredited qualifications and contractual obligations.
Your information will be used for the purposes of providing consultancy services, attendance at an event or training course you have entered on to, including:
- To deal with your initial enquiry and advise you about appropriate products and services which we think are relevant to your enquiry/booking
- To process your booking
- To create training materials such as attendance sheets, sign in sheets and information we are required to keep in order to offer you accredited qualifications
- To contact you in relation to the training event/course (for example, to provide a feedback report)
- To request payment via invoice
The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6.1(b) of the General Data Protection Regulations, for a contractual obligation.
How your data is used
We use your information to provide the service you request to you.
We are obliged to share and hold data to our qualification awarding body/bodies as a regulated centre delivering accredited qualifications and to ensure we meet their requirements and audits and this is also safeguards candidates. Also it may be necessary to share with our contracted training partners to provide the training services to you.
This will only be shared when we are required to do so and to enable us to offer you accredited qualifications and to provide the service to you.
We do not share your information with anyone else unless we are required to do so by law or it is necessary to provide our services to you.
If you provide services to us as a contractor, or represent a company providing contracted services to us, we may share your data with other internal services of the Council for purposes connected with the efficient delivery of the contract. This may include our Procurement Team, Legal Service and Finance Service for example. Additionally we may share your information with other companies connected with the contracted service, again for the efficient and effective delivery of these services
We will not disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing or sales purposes or external commercial use. However ehc UK may use your data for internal commercial use and to contact you about services and products which we think may be of interest to you. We will not use your personal data in a way which may cause you harm.
Where you expressly consent under Article 6.1(a) of the General Data Protection Regulations, your information may be shared with partner organisations or individuals that supported the event you attended.
How long the information is kept for
We will process the information you provide in a manner that is compatible with the GDPR. We will endeavour to keep your information accurate and up to date and not keep it for longer than is necessary.
